In the liberated regions of Syria by Syrian Democratic Forces, Arab youth are increasingly joining defense forces.
Youth in Northern Syria and Rojava are increasingly participating in SDF, YPG, YPJ and Self Defense forces. Recently, hundreds of young people have joined defense forces to defend their land and and take place in the fight against terrorism. Besides the participation from all ethnic groups, the intensive attention of the Arab youth to the defense forces is remarkable.
Over the course of past month, 1570 fighters have joined Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), People's Defense Units (YPG) and Women's Defense Units (YPJ) from different regions. Besides this, more than 950 warriors joined the Self-Defense Brigades to fulfill their military service. Within the framework of military and ideological education studies, military academies in all cantons, especially Raqqa and Deir Al-Zor, have completed the training of hundreds of fighters and graduated them. Two new Self Defense Force Brigades were established in Afrin after completing the training of 930 warriors trained in Şehid İzet academy in the last month.
250 fighters from Afrin who completed their training at the Şehid Xebat academy joined the YPG and YPJ ranks.
In Manbij 500, in Cizîr region 350 fighters have completed the training course and joined the defense forces. Within the month, 330 people, who defected from terrorist groups backed by the occupying Turkish state, joined the QSD ranks.
